Job Full Description
Express is looking for a Class B Driver with a passenger endorsement to drive seniors and people with disabilities. In addition to having a Class B driver's license with a record clean enough to be added to the employer's insurance, the ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to passengers. This person will participate in the DMV "Pull Progam".
Key Tasks
- Safely operate a small bus serving seniors and people with disabilities
- Respond to dispatch
- Conduct routine safety checks
- Maintain records and logs
- Provide special assistance with vehicle entry and exit
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, dealing tactfully and courteously with the public
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Key Traits
- Possess a valid California Class B license with passenger endorsement and a safe driving record
- Exhibit safe work practices
- Vehicle operation for transportation services
- Understand techniques and methods of assisting senior citizens and persons with disabilities with vehicle entry and exit
- Knowledge of the geography of the local area.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and safe operating conditions
- Record-keeping methods and procedures
Compensation
Pay is $17-$18.80 per hour. For candidates hired on full-time, the benefits are excellent!! This candidate selected will be hired directly onto our client's team immediately.
