Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Class A Truck Driver for regional routes in Northern California. The driver will complete two runs per week from Eureka to Manteca, take a 10-hour break, unload the next morning, pick up a load in the Bay Area, and return home. The role primarily involves drop and hook but may also require pallet jack or forklift use.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Assist with loading and securing freight when necessary
- Drop and hook trailers as assigned
- Complete logbooks, trip recaps, and required paperwork
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical
- Eligible for insurance coverage under company policy
- Experience preferred but not required
