PAY RANGE: $22.00-$24.00/hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The associate will perform a variety of duties associated with maintaining the warehouse and supervising receiving, stocking, distributing, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Will perform related duties as assigned and local deliveries.
  • Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving areas; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received.
  • Oversees the movement of material from Receiving to the Warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
  • Manages the finished goods inventory to reduce adjustments for spoilage and damage to goal.
  • Oversees the supplying of materials to Production and stages material for mixing purposes.
  • Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Ensure that the warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
  • Ensure the warehouse and team is compliant with GMPs.
  • This includes maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and docks.
  • Enforces and Complies with GMP’s, Food Safety and OSHA rules and practices. 
  • Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Monitors the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
  • Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse (FIFO).

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years as a Warehouse Associate in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Knowledge of procedures, rules, and regulations including health and sanitation as well as Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher procedures. 
  • Able to manage all warehouse related duties in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct quality inspections on processes, raw materials, and finished products.

Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the operator is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

Equipment Used:

  • Forklift, Pallet jack, Shrink wrapper, etc.
  • Wears the proper safety equipment.

Qualities Preferred:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
  • Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
