Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Warehouse Delivery Driver for a full time, long term position in Fremont, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload turf and landscaping materials by hand.
- Deliver materials to customers on schedule.
- Operate delivery vehicle in compliance with local and federal driving laws.
Skills & Experience:
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (basic).
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Assist in warehouse or yard when not on deliveries (if applicable)
Equipment Used:
- Forklift and flatbed truck
Physical Requirements:
- Physically demanding. Able to work outside. Ability to lift and move heavy turf rolls and materials, 50 to 70 lbs regularly
Education:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Qualities Preferred:
- Dependable, physically fit, and experienced behind the wheel of larger delivery vehicles
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
