Press Brake Operator
Pay, Schedule & Location:
- $18 - $22ph
- Mon - Fri 8 hour shifts

Responsibilities:
Press brake operators will operate a press brake machine to shape sheet metal. The operators loads pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening, aligning and positioning the material to achieve specific shapes.
Must follow blueprints and schematics. The operators monitor sheet metal as its being shaped, inspecting pieces of fresh sheet metal for imperfections and overall quality. The press brake operators set up the press brake machines.
- Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
- Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
- Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available.
- Measures and aligns materials to be used.
- Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Read Blueprints
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans (blueprints).
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Perform preventative maintenance
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.
- Press Brake Operator: 1 year (Required)
