Job Full Description
Express Employment is recruiting for Industrial Painters that can assist a local manufacturing company in Fresno.
Pay: $16-$19/hr
Shift: Day shift (4 10''s)
- Able to spray liquid paint using single or dual stage topcoats, and clear sealer
- Familiar with urethane topcoat and epoxy primer is required
- Able to mix topcoat and primer to paint specification
- Able to dissemble equipment’s off the truck using manual and air tool
- Able to perform body work using bondo and body fillers
- Able to prep surfaces for paint using manual sanders and clean surfaces using Acetone.
- Must be familiar with preparation of steel and aluminum
- Must be able to match paint coat to final cab colors using various mixing equipment and familiar with plural system
- Familiar with manual liquid paint spray guns-HVLP
- Must be able to mask the units for paint using masking tape, paper, and or plastic sheeting
- Must be able to use caulking to cover weld joints after primer
- Must be able to do detailing and touch up paint of finished equipment
- Familiar with Line-X and underbody seal coating is a plus
- Must be familiar with proper method of cleaning painting equipment
- Able to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
- Wear safety equipment and respirators
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to read production work orders and has excellent communication skills
- Able to work in manufacturing environment where exposed to long period of standing and occasionally lifting 50 pounds
- Must be willing to any shift and weekends as required
- Must have at least 3 to 4 years working as a liquid painter in manufacturing environment with above work experiences
Candidates with automotive or industrial finishing are ideal for this position.
