Purchasing Clerk

Sun Valley, CA

Full time – Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$23hr to $26hr depending on experience.

 

Busy designer and manufacturer of high-quality continuous type bucket elevators for a wide spectrum of industries is looking for an Purchasing Clerk to join their team in Sun Valley.

 

Summary: Seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Administrative Assistant/Customer Service rep to provide office support to our vendors, clients and staff. You will be responsible for answering and making calls, data entry, inventory look up and support.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize office and assist employees, customers and vendors.
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages.
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a customer service representative or similar role.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Good typing skills and computer literacy.
