Job Full Description
Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking an Accounting Manager for a nonprofit financial services company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a permanent, direct hire career opportunity with a starting base salary of $120,000/year and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of accounting staff
- Record and reconcile transactions
- Prepare and provide analysis of monthly financial statements
- Provide oversight for the accounts receivable and payable functions
- Support with budgeting and financial planning
- Review general ledger accounts
- Assist with external audits and tax filings
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting and financial statement reporting experience
- Comfortable working with companies with annual revenue of $50M plus
- Experience working within nonprofit organizations a benefit
- Proven leadership skills
- Expert Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
