Class A Driver (Norwalk, CA)

$25.00 per hour 

Monday to Friday  / 8:00am to 4:30pm

 

Class A Driver / Warehouse  Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a bobtail truck to deliver goods to customer locations in a timely and courteous manner.
• Pickup products from vendor locations and ensure all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials.
• Keep daily delivery logs and customer paperwork up to date.
• Assist warehouse staff with unloading containers as needed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain driver logs according to regulations.
• Adhere to FMCSA safety standards and vehicle operation guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and service of the truck.
• Follow delivery and pickup instructions from dispatch and other personnel.
• Break down pallets and down-stack boxes at delivery points as necessary.
• When not on the road, assist with various warehouse tasks.
• Perform other duties as required by management or dispatch.

Class A Driver / Warehouse Requirements:

• Class A or B Driver License with at least 1 year of driving experience required.
• Clean driving record is a must.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required for communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles. 
• Capable of handling physical work, including lifting and moving items.
• Strong ability to follow directions and read maps for accurate navigation.
• Proficient with GPS systems to ensure the best routes are followed.
