MIG Welder (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
6am-2:30pm / Mon-Fri
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
A leading energy company in Santa Fe Springs is seeking an experienced MIG Welder who specializes in aluminum and stainless steel welding. If you have recent MIG welding experience apply today! MIG Welder Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Understand technical drawings and schematic. Able to setup, fabricate, and assemble prototype parts in accordance to engineering drawings, sketches, or verbally instructions
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
- Must know how to use and operate general shop tools, machinery, and equipment, such as forklifts, torch cutter/welder, drill presses, band saws, grinders, hand drills/tools, wrenches, screwdrivers.
MIG Welder Requirements:
- 3- 6 years experience in welding and fabrication
- Must have experience welding aluminum and stainless steel
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
