Delivery Scheduler (Whittier, CA)
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour / DOE
Monday Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
A leading pharmaceutical company in Whittier is seeking a Delivery Scheduler to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a high volume of phone calls, coordinate medication deliveries to patients homes and healthcare providers offices, handle data entry, and collect copayments. You will work closely with medical offices and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient medication delivery. Delivery Scheduler Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of inbound phone calls from patients and healthcare offices.
- Schedule medication deliveries by calling patients and healthcare providers, ensuring all details are accurately captured.
- Accurately input and update patient and delivery data into our user-friendly software system.
- Collect copayments and assist patients with any related inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with referring MD offices to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient medication delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed by the Supervisor.
Delivery Scheduler Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong data entry and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and multitasking.
- Proficient in phone usage and data entry; experience with software systems is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willing to contribute to the success of the team.
- Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, or a healthcare setting is plus.
