Job Full Description
Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring Production Packagers for great local company. This is a great position for an individual with great attention to detail and accuracy.
POSITION – Production Packager
LOCATION: Wilmington
PAY: $18/Hr.
HOURS: Mon -Fri 5:00am - 1:30pm, with lots of Overtime
Responsibilities
- Fill packaging containers and palletize cases
- Operate filling equipment in a safe manner.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and company specifications
- Maintain established standards of productivity & quality
- Set up and break down production machinery as needed
- Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of PPE
- Keep production areas clean by performing housekeeping tasks as necessary
Skills
- Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy required
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Steel toe shoes
- HS diploma or GED
- Work in a chemical manufacturing environment
