Job Full Description
Job Summary: The Housing Navigator will work closely with individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to secure stable housing. This role involves outreach to landlords, property managers, and community resources to identify housing opportunities and provide support to clients throughout the housing process.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive housing assessments and develop individualized housing plans for clients.

Engage with landlords and property managers to identify and secure housing options for clients.

Assist clients with housing applications, lease agreements, and understanding tenant rights and responsibilities.

Provide ongoing support and advocacy for clients to ensure housing stability.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Collaborate with other service providers and community resources to connect clients with additional support services.

Attend relevant trainings, workshops, and community events to stay informed about housing resources and best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field, or at least four years of relevant experience.

Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of local housing resources and landlord-tenant laws.

Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
