Job Details

Production Assistant/ Finisher Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the shipping schedule, strapping loads in the correct order for delivery.
• Follow palletizing and tagging instructions according to customer specifications.
• Securely strap all loads for shipment to ensure safety during transit.
• Weigh pallets before shipment and verify that the printed scale tags are accurate.
• Post correct quantities on every load for tracking purposes.
• Inspect and separate tagged sheets for Supervisor approval.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, including:
  • Stripping paper using an air chisel
  • Operating a torch for heat shrink wrapping
  • Jogging, case packing, and folding cartons
  • Assisting cutters and palletizing products
• Operate a pallet jack safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Production Assistant/ Finisher Qualifications:

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Physical ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to grasp, grip, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull as needed.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Must be able to read small print and follow detailed instructions.
• Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
