Maintenance Technician
$18.00 per hour
Monday Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
A leading producer and distributor of high-quality insulation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the continuous operation of machines and equipment in our warehouse. You’ll be helping to fix and maintain machinery, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure the overall efficiency of our facility’s operations. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with electrical experience who are eager to learn and develop within the industrial manufacturing sector. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with machines
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Assist with setting up and testing new equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Help with minor facility repairs and upkeep as needed
- Support the team with other maintenance-related tasks and special projects
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience in maintenance, with basic electrical or mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with warehouse machinery and equipment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow in the role
- Reliable and punctual
