Job Details

Duties:
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Assist with the installation of electrical components such as outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
- Perform basic electrical calculations and measurements
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical principles and concepts
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and follow instructions
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) is a plus
- Experience in frame carpentry or industrial electrician work is a plus
