Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems design and development. This role is ideal for an individual with a desire to grow into a leadership position, managing and mentoring an innovative engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and optimizing embedded systems while progressively transitioning into engineering management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Design, develop, and test embedded systems for [Insert Specific Applications, e.g., industrial, consumer electronics, medical devices].
  • Create and optimize PCB layouts, circuit designs, and firmware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-level and component-level issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded solutions into broader systems.

Leadership Development:

  • Shadow and assist the Engineering Manager in department planning, resource allocation, and project management.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and foster team collaboration.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of engineering staff.

Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and maintain quality assurance processes.

Strategic Input:

  • Contribute to the development of department strategies and long-term goals.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance engineering processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++microcontrollers, and hardware-software integration.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor teams in a collaborative environment.
