WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food plating and presentation.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen environment.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager.
- Assist with inventory control and restocking.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in large catering and banquet operations is required.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent knife skills and culinary techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional culinary training or equivalent experience is preferred.
