Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients in various care settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans tailored to meet the specific dietary needs of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care and support overall treatment goals.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding nutrition, weight loss strategies, and dietary modifications.
- Supervise dietary staff to ensure compliance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Stay updated on current trends in nutrition science and best practices in dietetics to enhance patient care.
- Perform regular evaluations of patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on diagnostic evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
- Experience in acute care and long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health outcomes.
- Proficient in developing effective weight loss programs tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
