Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), invoice processing, data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review, verify, and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain updated records.
- Assist in monthly bank and account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks to support the accounting department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
