About the Position:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst for our client partner. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining the financial planning and forecasting models, analyzing financial data, creating reports, and providing insights to help the organization make informed business decisions.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Work with the CFO and other department leaders to assist in the preparation and maintenance of the primary budget and rolling forecast, including building quarterly budgets, reporting, and related variance analysis.
• Assist the CFO in modeling the 5-year strategic plan.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to support business decision-making and cost analysis, explain trends, identify problems and root causes, and provide creative alternatives to reduce costs & overhead.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement scalable solutions.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Assist with ad-hoc modeling and analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years in a similar role, with a strong focus on financial analysis and business strategy.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., FMS or other ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools a plus (e.g., Salient, Power BI).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
• Prior experience directly supporting business partners.
• Experience with cash flow modeling a plus.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
