Position Overview:
As a Software Test Driver, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating new software installed in an Acura vehicle. Your role will involve driving under various conditions, monitoring software performance, and providing detailed feedback to our development team. This is a critical role in ensuring the software meets our high standards of safety, reliability, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Operation:
- Safely operate the Acura vehicle in various driving conditions including city, highway, and rural areas.
- Follow predefined test routes and schedules as specified by the Test Lead Engineer.

Software Testing:
- Monitor and interact with the installed software, noting any issues, malfunctions, or areas for improvement.
- Conduct specific tests as instructed, such as software feature activation, response time measurement, and user interface evaluation.

Data Collection and Reporting:
- Record detailed observations and data during each test drive.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding software performance, bugs, and user experience.

Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in optimal condition for testing purposes.

Communication:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand testing requirements and objectives.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss test results and suggest potential improvements.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with software testing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills for effective reporting and feedback.
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with automotive software and systems is advantageous.
Work Environment:
This position involves extensive driving and may require working in various weather conditions. The role may also require flexible working hours, including early mornings, weekends, to complete testing schedules.
Location: Inland Empire to Orange County
Position Type: 2-3 Months
Pay:$20.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00 am - 1:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid CA Drivers License
- Sitting for 8+ hours a day
- Clean driving record
- Able to work with minimal supervision
