Maintenance Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated team in Sacramento. This full-time role is perfect for someone skilled in property maintenance who values a hands-on, supportive work environment and enjoys making a positive impact on the property and its residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily property inspections to ensure that facilities and common areas are well-maintained, identifying and addressing any maintenance needs.
- Complete maintenance requests from residents and staff, including tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Prepare units for new residents by performing tasks such as painting, replacing fixtures, conducting basic electrical repairs, and ensuring each unit meets move-in standards.
- Repair drywall, appliances, and other components to maintain the overall quality and functionality of the property.
- Support additional maintenance tasks as needed to keep the property safe, clean, and in good condition.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently to support timely maintenance and repairs.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle various types of maintenance equipment safely.
- At least 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance, including unit turnovers, repairs, and general upkeep.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively to resolve maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tools, safety practices, and techniques across multiple trades, including painting, electrical, and appliance repair.
