Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Quality Control/Operator for a local manufacturing company in the Roseville area.
Pay Range $35.00-$40 hr. DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Operator to join our team. This role requires proficiency in using Zeiss Calipso software for high-precision measurements and inspections to ensure the highest standards of product quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Inspections: Perform regular inspections and quality checks on parts and components using Zeiss Calipso software for 3D measurement and analysis.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Record measurement data and input it into the appropriate systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Interpret results from Zeiss Calipso software to identify any deviations from specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Calibration: Calibrate and troubleshoot Zeiss measuring equipment and ensure it is functioning optimally. Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during measurement.
- Report Generation: Create detailed reports based on measurement data and findings. Communicate potential quality issues to the production and engineering teams in a timely manner.
- Documentation Compliance: Maintain and organize inspection logs, ensuring all required documentation is complete and in compliance with quality control standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve any quality concerns and provide support for product development or design changes.
- Adhere to Safety & Standards: Follow all safety regulations and quality control standards. Ensure that proper protocols are followed for inspections and testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a quality control operator or in a similar role, with hands-on experience using Zeiss Calipso software and 3D measurement equipment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Zeiss Calipso software for precision measurements and analysis.
- Familiarity with 3D measurement equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of measurement techniques and metrology standards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect defects, analyze measurement data, and interpret results with precision.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify issues that may arise during the measurement process.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Advanced training or certification in metrology or quality control techniques.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to work with detailed measurements and operate precision instruments.
