Job Full Description
Class A Driver
Location: Rocklin, CA
Shift: Part-Time Hours, Saturday and Sunday (about 6 hours/day), graveyard
Pay: $27-$28/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods between specified locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues.
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers or other company locations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding driving hours, rest periods, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials safely, if applicable.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a Class A driver.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to work the graveyard shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
