Inventory Manager

Job Highlights:

• Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
• Pay: $23.88–$25.50 per hour
• Full-time position

 

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management, procurement, or related roles, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• A degree or certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain supply-demand balance
• Track inventory usage and forecast material needs based on project schedules
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and negotiate favorable terms
• Oversee inventory storage at various job sites
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock record accuracy
• Implement and manage an inventory tracking system
• Collaborate with project managers to anticipate material needs
• Address material shortages or discrepancies, providing solutions
• Provide inventory performance reports to upper management
