Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Compensation: $150,000–$190,000
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee and manage the financial operations of our manufacturing company, ensuring fiscal responsibility and driving the financial strategy to support growth and sustainability. This role partners closely with the executive team and provides strategic leadership on financial matters, operational efficiencies, and business planning.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company goals.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the executive team on long-term planning and risk management.

Financial Operations:
- Oversee all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.
- Manage cash flow, cost controls, and treasury functions to maintain financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards.

Operational Efficiency:
- Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Analyze and manage capital investment projects to ensure ROI and alignment with company goals.
- Lead process improvements to enhance financial systems and workflows.

Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to build a high-performing department.
- Foster collaboration across departments to drive a culture of financial accountability.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee audits and manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Monitor and manage risk exposure, including regulatory compliance and insurance matters.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP) and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and deliver measurable results.
