Warehouse Operator
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Natomas, CA
Pay: $18/hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator for a reputable company in Natomas, CA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates with forklift expertise and a solid understanding of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are inspected for accuracy and quality.
- Load and unload materials using pallets, skids, platforms, forklifts, and other lifting devices.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) including propane sit-down forklifts;
- Read and interpret work orders to process tasks accurately.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
- Handle multiple projects in a labor-intensive environment while maintaining focus and productivity.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency with computer systems and MRP software.
- Skilled using manual pallet jacks and 2+ years of experience operating powered forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Language skills in Italian or Spanish are a plus.
