Lidia Guerrero

Office Manager

Lidia is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in both management and operations, making her a valuable asset to Express Employment Professionals. She joined the company in 2016, bringing with her a background that spans multiple industries. Prior to her role with Express, Lidia spent four years managing teams at Taco Bell, where she honed her leadership and customer service skills. She also contributed to the success of Hunter Industries, a global leading manufacturer, where she worked for thirty years as a Production Supervisor. In this capacity, she played a critical role in overseeing production processes, team development, and quality control. 

After joining Express, Lidia exhibited exceptional dedication, work ethic, and leadership skills, which propelled her swiftly through various positions. She progressed from Front Office Coordinator to Employment Specialist, Senior Employment Specialist, and ultimately Office Manager in 2022, demonstrating her impressive career growth within the company.

One of Lidia's core strengths is her resilience in the face of challenges. She thrives in fast-paced environments and approaches every obstacle with determination and a strategic mindset. Her leadership has been instrumental in the success of her office, and she takes great pride in managing a team that earned both Circle and Bronze status.

Outside of her professional role, Lidia is passionate about fitness, maintaining an active lifestyle, and enjoys shopping for new trends. Her enthusiasm for personal growth and well-being is evident in all areas of her life.

Adriana Segoviano

Senior Employment Specialist | Light Industrial

Adriana's career journey with Express began in January 2018 when she joined as a Front Office Coordinator. Since then, she has taken on various roles, including Payroll, Recruiting, Junior Employment Specialist, Employment Specialist, and has since been promoted to Senior Employment Specialist for Light Industrial

Adriana brings a diverse skill set to her position, with a background that spans from managing an architect's office to working in accounts payable and receivable. She has honed her skills in recruitment, from sourcing to placement, and has developed a deep understanding of the process, fostering strong relationships with both clients and candidates. Adriana is known for her ability to build trust and rapport, set clear expectations, and achieve goals- even under pressure. Her empathy, active listening skills, and commitment to client satisfaction set her apart in the field. 

In addition to her hands-on experience, Adriana holds a Medical Billing and Coding certificate and is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Business Management at Palomar College. Her leadership and contributions have played a key role in our office's success, helping the team achieve milestones such as transitioning from Circle to Bronze status and winning trips to Hawaii and Los Cabos. 

Outside of work, Adriana enjoys painting, especially during paint night with her friends, and is passionate about personal development. She encourages others to explore " The Career Fitness Program" by Dianne Sukiennik and Lisa Raufman, which reinforces her belief in the fulfilling impact of helping others. For Adriana, each successful placement has a ripple effect on the individual, their families, and the broader community, making her work deeply meaningful and rewarding.

Karina Angon

Employment Specialist | Skilled Trades

Karina brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role at Express. Before joining the team, she held various positions as an executive assistant, warehouse clerk, and in data entry. These roles helped Karina develop a strong foundation in organization, problem-solving, and multitasking, all of which she applies in her current position. 

Karina joined Express in March 2021 as a Front Office Coordinator. Since then, she has advanced through multiple roles, including Recruiting and Junior Employment Specialist, and is now our Skilled Trades Employment Specialist. Her journey at Express reflects her dedication and adaptability, as she continues to grow and take on new challenges.

In her current role, she has honed her skills in phone etiquette and networking with industry professionals. Karina's strength lies in her problem-solving skills- she's always ready to seek the right answer, no matter the challenge. One of her proudest achievements has been earning Fast Track recognition for Skilled Trades, a testament to her hard work and commitment.

Joselin Lopez

Jr. Employment Specialist

Joselin began her career with Express Employment Professionals in January 2022 as a Front Office Coordinator, bringing with her a background in the food industry. As her role evolved, Joselin transitioned to a Recruiter position, where she honed her skills in screening candidates and conducting phone interviews. Her growth continued as she took on a leadership position as an Onsite Coordinator for a medical manufacturer. In this role, she oversaw contingent workers, coordinated onboarding and training initiatives, tracked performance metrics, and provided support in HR-related tasks such as with attendance counseling.  

Recently, Joselin advanced to the role of Jr. Employment Specialist, focusing on candidate placement. In this capacity, she plays a key role in matching candidates with the right job opportunities, and presenting qualified candidates to meet the hiring needs of our clients. 

Among Joselin's proudest accomplishments with Express is helping her team reach Circle status, a recognition of outstanding team performance. Additionally, she finds great satisfaction in assisting job seekers in her community find meaningful employment and financial stability for themselves and their families. The opportunity to make a direct positive impact on people's lives is something Joselin values deeply. 

Joselin's personal mantra is "Grow through what you go through." She believes that every challenge is an opportunity for growth, even when life doesn't go according to plan. This belief guides her as she strives to be the best version of herself for her son, who is her greatest motivator. She cherishes the time spent with him and remains committed to living a life full of gratitude and appreciation.

Christine Alvarado

Director of Business Development 

Christine has been an integral part of the Express team since July 11, 2006. With a professional background in accounts receivable, collections, and administrative work, Christine brought valuable experience to the table from day one. 

Starting as the Front Office Coordinator, Christine's work ethic and leadership quickly set her apart. She has worn nearly every hat in the office- Staffing Consultant, Senior Staffing Consultant, Business Developer- while also contributing behind the scenes with payroll and accounts receivable. Her unwavering dedication and drive led her to her current role as Director of Business Development, where she continues to shape Express's success story. 

Christine has developed deep expertise in relationship-building, understanding clients and associate needs, identifying strategies to boost productivity and bottom-line results. Her strength lies in her ability to recognize opportunities for growth and drive impactful outcomes. 

Christine is guided by the belief that "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts," and lives by the mantra, "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible!"

Outside of work, Christine loves sports, spending time with her kids, reading, and playing games of all kinds. Her drive and dedication makes her a valued leader and cornerstone of the Express team.

Angelyn Lucia

Jr. Business Developer 

Angelyn joined Express in February 2018, bringing with her a background in community volunteer work and a BA in Liberal Studies from UCS San Marcos. When she first started at Express, Angelyn took the time to learn the business, then later transitioned into a sales role. She leveraged her community volunteer skills to build relationships and connect with clients. Angelyn's dedication to her personal and professional growth has played a crucial role in her success within the company. 

Angelyn takes great pride in seeing a lead turn into a client and is especially proud to be part of her family's success at Express. Her greatest accomplishments have increased her self-confidence and realization of her potential in sales, a career path she never initially considered. 

A firm believer in the power of teamwork, Angelyn is guided by two quotes that inspire her both in work and life:

Miriam Ponce

Front Office Coordinator/Payroll Administrator 

Miriam joined Express in June of 2023, bringing with her a diverse background in administratrative support and early childhood education. She began her journey with Express as a Recruiting Specialist, where she played a key role in sourcing candidates through job search platforms, speaking with potential hires, and coordinating interviews. Her dedication and attention to detail quickly stood out, leading to a transition into the front office where she now plays a dual role as Front Office Coordinator and Payroll Specialist. 

In her current role, Miriam manages a variety of responsibilites with precision and care- from welcoming visitors to ensuring payroll is processed accurately and timely. Her strong attention to detail and ability to multitask are among her greatest strengths, especially when balancing the fast-paced demands of payroll and front office operations. 

One of Miriam's proudest accomplishments is being part of a high-performing, mission-driven team. She's continously inspired by her coworkers' dedication to results and their commitment to supporting associates and serving the local community. She finds great fulfillment in contributing to the success of others and believes in the positive impact her work has on their lives.

Outside of work, Miriam enjoys staying active by working out and finds peace in catching sunsets at the beach.
