Job Full Description
Express is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our client in the Poway area. You will repair and maintain the operating condition of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance and equipment modifications, maintaining an inventory of spare parts, and authorizing outside services when needed.
Pay Rate: $28.17 - 32.20/HR (depending on experience and shift)
Maintenance Technician Highlights:
- Actively participates in improving facility safety
- Minimizes equipment downtime to facilitate maximum manufacturing productivity
- Documents Preventative Maintenance
- Performs equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures. Provides input to improve PM procedure effectiveness
- Identifies and procures equipment spare parts to maintain spare parts inventory
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment failures. Implements maintenance plan changes to prevent a recurrence
- Releases new or modified equipment to manufacturing per validation instructions
- Communicates observations and recommendations to stakeholders
- Performs other duties as required by Maintenance Supervisor
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime on any days scheduled per business needs
What We Look for in Maintenance Technicians:
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Industrial Maintenance
- AA/AS Diploma, Trade School or Equivalent applicable experience
- Must have good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical equipment and safety policies
- Knowledge and ability to perform Machine Shop functions – Mill, Lathe, Surface Grinder
- Knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
