Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategy for fundraising and resource growth, meeting annual fundraising targets.
- Provide professional expertise in leading a comprehensive advancement program that supports the institution’s mission and programs.
- Create and sustain a culture of giving and engagement through robust communications, annual giving programs, major gift solicitation, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
- Engage constituents in the advancement of the institution through their contributions of time, talent, and financial resources.
- Oversee and direct the work of the advancement and marketing/communications team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or higher preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic fundraising strategies.
- Proven experience obtaining 5 to 6 figure gifts, bequests, and grants; experience in non-profits, charities, annual campaigns, and other philanthropic organizations.
- Strong team building and management skills.
- Advocacy for women’s leadership.
