Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Senior Tax Manager responsible for tax preparation, financial statement compilations, and tax compliance. Key duties include:
- Preparing individual, partnership, corporate, S-corp, trust, and non-profit tax returns
- Reviewing tax returns prepared by other team members
- Actively leading/participating in client tax planning efforts
- Ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation of all clients' tax returns
- Communicating with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide updates
- Assisting in resolving tax issues and responding to inquiries from tax authorities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer (CPA firm experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
- Strong tax research skills
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting
- CPA or Enrolled Agent with GAAP financial statement experience (CPA Candidate considered)
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience, preparing complex individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns
- Proven management and supervisory skills
