Global organization is seeking a Payroll Coordinator for its corporate headquarters in Watsonville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes and will collaborate with the Human Resources Department to administer benefits and support corporate accounting functions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to manage employee benefits and resolve any related inquiries
  • Support accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring accurate financial records
  • Utilize payroll software systems (such as ADP) for efficient processing
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide exceptional customer service

Skills

  • 2 years' payroll experience
  • Some familiarity with accounting principles and practices, such as accounts payable and/or general ledger processes
  • Experience with 3rd-party payroll software systems, such as ADP or Paychex, is highly desirable
  • Agricultural background and bilingual skills a plus
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with employees at all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
