Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Westlake Village, CA
Pay: $35 - $40/HR
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Westlake Village. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and a willingness to learn the tax side of accounting. You will work with clients (5 million) and ensure accurate information and attention to detail across various accounting and tax-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information
• Work with QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and tax software (Lacert, QuickBooks Online)
• Ensure timely completion of internal deadlines
• Apply project management skills to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in learning and handling tax-related accounting tasks

Requirements:

• Strong background in accounting, with a willingness to train in tax
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and Tax Software (Lacert, QuickBooks Online)
• Experience managing deadlines and project management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
