Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Print Machine Operator to join our team and operate an industrial-sized Digital Textile Printer for washable rug production. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and quality control of our printing process, ensuring each job meets our high standards and is completed on schedule. What You’ll Do:
• Maintain, start, stop, and clean the industrial textile printer for optimal performance
• Set up, changeover, troubleshoot, and operate equipment as needed
• Identify material with poor quality, flagging and correcting issues as necessary
• Monitor designs during printing, identifying and addressing any defects to ensure quality
• Manage the full printing process, including racking and ensuring product readiness
• Perform test prints to confirm design and color accuracy
• Load and unload products into the print machines
• Follow the print schedule to ensure timely production
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting heavy rolls (80-150 lbs) throughout the workday
• Must be able to bend/twist at the waist and knees consistently
Desired Skills and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1-4 years of work experience, ideally in a manufacturing or textile printing environment
• Self-motivated team player, capable of working independently or within a team
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Detail-oriented, innovative, and able to manage time effectively
