CMM Specialist / QC for a manufacturing company in Torrance
South Bay based manufacturing company has an exciting opening for a Senior QC/CMM Specialist! Must have 5+ years of experience in QC and ideally 5+ years using a CMM machine for inspections.
Contract to hire with a target salary of $26-30/hr, medical insurance upon hired.
Essential Duties:
- Building a complete first article inspection report (FAIR)
- In shop calibration and outsourcing all inspection equipment
- Controlling shelf life products
- Complete detailed in process inspection (DIPs)
- Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Understand daily responsibilities of the QC Department
- Inspect received raw materials and review certifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with QC and ideally 5+ years with CMM
- Experience working for an aerospace manufacturing company
- Highly proficient with reading aerospace blueprints for tolerances.
- Knowledge of first article inspections reports (Fair forms)
