Job Description: Admin/Accounting Professional
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Schedule: Full-time, must be available to work Saturdays (retail business)
We are currently sourcing candidates for the Admin/Accounting Professional position in Torrance. This role is essential in providing administrative and accounting support within a dynamic retail business. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and flexible to work on Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.
Position Overview
The Admin/Accounting Professional will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and administrative responsibilities. The position requires exceptional multitasking skills, strong communication, and proficiency with accounting tools such as Sage 100.
Essential Duties
• Professionally answer and direct phone calls.
• Perform accurate and efficient data entry.
• Process product orders and handle order confirmations via email.
• Complete basic invoicing tasks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Utilize Sage 100 for accounting tasks (preferred but not required).
Qualifications
• Minimum two years of recent experience in accounts payable and receivable.
• Familiarity with inventory management (helpful but not required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Sage 100 is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work Saturdays as part of a retail business schedule.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
