Job Full Description
The R&D Manager will lead new product development, improve existing formulations, and ensure regulatory compliance. This position requires expertise in tablets, capsules, and powders while balancing technical knowledge with client engagement. The ideal candidate will manage multiple client projects, supervise Formulation Chemists, and drive innovation in dietary supplement formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop & optimize dietary supplement formulations.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, NSF, and Health Canada regulations.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
• Supervise Formulation Chemists and promote team development.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and ingredient innovations.
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Science.
✔ 5-7 years of experience in dietary supplement formulation, ideally in contract manufacturing.
✔ Strong understanding of ingredients, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
✔ Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver customized solutions.
