Our client in Sun Valley, CA is seeking a Food Production Facility Sanitation Worker!
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, adhering to high standards of quality and safety. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, food production, and commercial cleaning, with a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, and equipment, to meet high standards of quality and safety.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as scrubbers and pressure washers, to effectively clean surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or food processing area, ensuring all equipment is in working order and all materials are stored properly.
- Perform heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Fabricate and install cleaning equipment and materials, as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any cleaning or sanitation issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
Experience:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, food production, or commercial cleaning is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with cleaning equipment and materials is necessary.
- Familiarity with food processing or food production is an asset.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Proven experience in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding role.
