Job Full Description
General Purpose of Job:
Take part in the manufacturing process of motorcycle seats and accessories. Keep an orderly flow and efficient track of all production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Laborers are expected to be able to perform all of the duties according to each department needs. Must be able to follow production procedures and work instructions, inspect raw material and finished product according to Departmental Quality Checklists, maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with work instructions and employee handbook, and keep good attendance.
Responsibility for Each Production Laborer
- Inspection – looking for defects that may cause a failure once it reaches final inspection.
- A good attendance record is essential to the smooth operation of the Assembly line.
- Certain job functions described herein may be subject to possible modification in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
- Work at a pace that keeps the assembly line running smoothly and efficiently.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- House keeping for all position is a must.
- Inspection of product at all areas.
- During down time helping where needed is also a responsibility.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Department Lead and/or the Safety Manager.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Attend in-house or off-site workshops, seminars, and conferences to increase or maintain knowledge of position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in cross training, safety training, all-hands meetings, department meetings and other sessions as needed
