Location: Visalia and Fresno, CA

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment process for new janitorial staff, ensuring bilingual candidates are effectively recruited and onboarded.
• Assist with employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
• Support payroll administration, benefits coordination, and employee record management.
• Conduct orientation and training sessions in both English and Spanish for new employees.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Handle employee inquiries in both languages, providing clear communication and guidance.
• Maintain accurate records for all HR functions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to policies.
• Assist with performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within a service industry.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the janitorial or environmental services industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance regulations.
