Electrical Mainteanance Tech
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues within control and power electrical systems.
Component Replacement: Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.
Ladder Logic Proficiency: Troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
PLC Maintenance: Replace PLC processors, I/O cards, VFDs, analog cards, racks, and controllers.
PLC Expertise: Skilled in Human Machine Interface (HMI), SLC series, PLC5, PLC5000, Micrologix, and other PLC systems, with proficiency in associated software.
Electronic Weigh Scale Maintenance: Calibrate, repair, and adjust electronic weigh scales.
PLC Programming: Capable of programming, repairing, and troubleshooting PLC systems, from "E" prom entry to full program completion.
Wiring Installations: Perform new wiring installations and upgrades to existing equipment as necessary.
AC Inverter Drive Management: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and program AC inverter drives.
Motor Control Systems: Troubleshoot and repair both AC and DC motor control systems.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required; formal training or certification in electrical systems is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance electrician.
Strong ability to read and write ladder logic.
Proficient in troubleshooting printed circuit boards, electrical controls, and wiring, including HVAC and burner controls.
Experience programming PLC ladder logic; Allen Bradley experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience (Non-Exempt)
