Quality Inspector

Full time - Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm
$20hr to $28hr depending on experience
A pioneer in the rapid prototyping, rapid production and digital manufacturing of the toughest and most demanding jobs including custom plastic injection molding, injection mold tooling, investment casting patterns, and the newest additive manufacturing processes like 3D Printing for the aerospace, medical, industrial, consumer, OEM, and other manufacturing sectors is looking for Quality Inspectors to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and delivering exceptional products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers and CMM to verify product dimensions.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities.
- Analyze date and test results to identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
