Maintenance Mechanic
Chatsworth, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
$23 to $28hr depending on experience
Cosmetic Manufacture with over 20 years of color cosmetic manufacturing experience, creating custom innovative formulas is looking for Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: Seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose problems accurately.
- Work with hydraulics and logic controllers to maintain hydraulic systems and automated processes.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualification:
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial for effective communication within the team.
