Inventory Analyst
Van Nuys, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 7am to 4pm
$24hr to $27hr depending on experience.
Major distributor and manufacturer of an array of consumer products, including electronics, appliances, housewares, laptops, etc. selling to most major retailers in North and South America, is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join their team in Van Nuys.
Summary: Ensure inventory is both accurate and up to date. Manage and coordinate inventory control operations reconciles discrepancies in inventory and notifies supervisor of differences. Take physical counts of merchandise and reconcile daily
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
- Track orders and investigates problems.
- Count merchandise and then enter information into database.
- Reconciliation of inventory, maintain inventory database.
- Analize bill of lading for weight, box count discrepancies.
- Analize reports to determine over/under.
- Stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, creating inventory reports.
- Daily physical counts in the warehouse of product.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous Inventory experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Strong Accounting Background.
- Strong Excel.
- Must be advanced in Pivot Tables, Formulas and V-lookup.
