We have a position here in Woodland.

M-F 8-5PM $18HR

Counter Parts We are in need of a temp to fill a current Parts Counterperson position. This person would be assisting customers with purchases from our farm supply store. Will be handling cash/credit cards

We are hoping to fill this in the next day or so as the location is very short staffed. 

The ideal candidate will possess retail knowledge
and strong communication skills to provide the highest level of customer service. Farm
machinery knowledge and/or Ag experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and bilingual are a
plus. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Fills daily orders by retrieving parts and supplies in a timely manner. *
2.Operates computer to track inventory and checks parts stock as needed. *
3.Maintains a sufficient stock of commonly used parts and supplies and notifies management of
potential shortages. *
4.Receives and examines incoming shipments for discrepancies and problems. *
5.Maintains parts and supplies storage area in a safe and orderly manner. *
6.Responds to customer inquiries and handles part orders via telephone or in person as
needed. *
7.Orders parts and supplies at the best possible price and delivery time from local part stores,
as necessary. *
8.Loads and unloads delivery trailers/truck and transfers merchandise to designated area via
hand or with material handling equipment as needed. *
9.Maintains the warehouse and receiving area in a safe and orderly manner. *
10.Performs daily billing functions and generates invoices for mailing through the Merchant Ag
system and initiates shipping orders for back orders. *
11.Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and answer questions
regarding parts. *
12. Receives and signs for packages and delivers to the appropriate person promptly. *
13. Operates standard office equipment to include a multi-line telephone system, facsimile
machine, photocopy machine, calculator, and a computer/printer. *
14. Responds to customer inquiries and complaints in a prompt manner. *
15. Provides parts quotations to all customers as requested. *
16. Stocks merchandise in warehouse to include utilizing equipment and lifting and carrying
merchandise to place on shelves. *
17. Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace to include moving pallets, sweeping, and
removing/disposing of debris. *
18. Works evenings and/or weekends as required, especially during a declared emergency.
19. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and
fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as
fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word;
Microsoft Excel; Merchant Ag; Microsoft Internet Explorer and Tele Nev.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Pallet jack
