Position type: Full time - Direct hire or Evaluation Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30a - 4:30p (some flexibility based on equipment and production schedules)
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician to work with a local company in the health and wellness industry. This person will be responsible for overall, smooth operation of manufacturing equipment to ensure production lines run smoothly.
Duties/Highlights:
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair and reassemble equipment
- Working on various components including conveyer systems, hoppers, deployment systems and packaging components
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Read and understand equipment schematics to properly disassemble and reassemble
What we look for:
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment specific to maintenance/repair of mechanical systems
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively solve problems
- The ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
- Experience working on manufacturing equipment and components
