Position: Field Technician
Location: Home office is located in Englewood, but work can be performed throughout the state of Colorado
Compensation: $20 - $30/hr + overtime
Schedule: Schedules vary depending on projects and seasons – full time with overtime opportunities!

Position Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Field Technician to join a growing team in the environmental services industry. This role involves general labor, site cleanup, landscaping, and environmental remediation tasks. The position requires a combination of office and field duties, making it ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and are capable of documenting field activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks, including cleanup and landscaping.
- Lift up to 50 lbs or more regularly while completing site activities.
- Assist with site characterization and remediation efforts.
- Operate hand tools and some heavy equipment (training provided).
- Adhere to safety protocols, wearing required PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves).
- Document field activities and project progress using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Travel to job sites throughout Colorado and the U.S. to support projects.
- Work long hours and overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines.
What we look for:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to apply skills in fieldwork.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and equipment handling.
- Strong team player and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Clean background and DMV record.
- Ability to pass initial drug and alcohol tests, with spot checks during employment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including bending, walking, and standing for long periods.
- Willing to travel frequently for projects across Colorado.
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus, though training is available.
- Commitment to safety and following all safety protocols.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, bending, and lifting (50 lbs or more).
- Use of PPE is mandatory (hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves).
