Job Title: Spot Welder
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in spot welding and metal fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves welding metal components and assemblies with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform spot welding operations on various metal components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate spot welding machines and related equipment
- Inspect welded joints and components for quality and accuracy
- Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality control measures
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a spot welder or in a similar welding role
- Proficiency in operating spot welding machines and related tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding
- Physical stamina and strength to handle welding equipment and materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is a plus
Work Environment:
- Full-time position
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, heat, and other industrial conditions
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required
