Summary:
Responsible for the selling and servicing profitable accounts both new and existing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting business development activities to identify and pursue potential customers for profitable accounts.
- Service existing accounts through regular contact and to expand sales.
- Learning the products and services and the best way to utilize them for the customer.
- Analyzing customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Demonstrating technical sales knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our products and services.
- Help to market the business by attending functions and activities to promote yourself and the company.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals with customers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to travel when necessary – both for sales and shows.
- Valid driver license, safe driving record and the ability to drive. Your own reliable vehicle will be necessary.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Experience in corrugated box/packaging supply sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals for you and the company.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, percentages and volume.
- Comfortable with cold calling and building relationships with potential clients.
Compensation Package:
Base Salary - $40,000.00 p/yr DOE
Commission – 2% of product sales up to $39,999,99 / 3% of product sales over. Potential commission for your first year could be up to $10,000.00.
Monthly Stipend - $600.00 ($7200.00 annually) for auto allowance/travel/miscellaneous expenses. Company phone provided.
Matching Simple IRA up to 3%.
